 Product Description

Racinglineline Sport Springs are specifically engineered to replace your factory springs with slightly shorter and
stiffer springs. They are designed to lower your vehicle's center of gravity and reduce body roll for better handling all
while maintaining the ride quality and comfort as if intended by the OEM. Racingline found the current VW OEM dampers
are a much more sophisticated design than previous generations resulting in a worthwhile improvement in handling
with little change. Racingline painstakingly developed these springs to work perfectly with your OEM dampers and require
no other changes to your suspension to take advantage of their benefits.

These springs are fully compatible with Volkswagen's Switchable DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) dampers.

Many springs available for VAG vehicles were either designed to be coupled with aftermarket dampers or are simply
available to lower and stiffen the vehicle without any testing to stand behind the chosen stiffness or ride height. Through
extensive development and testing, the Racingline Sport Springs were optimized for each vehicle platform. Tens of thousands
of miles across multiple vehicles were necessary to determine the ideal specifications for each spring set and Racingline is
very proud of the end results. Racingline can guarantee with confidence they believe these springs to be the best for your
VAG vehicle on the market.

Reducing Ride Height and Increasing Spring Rate

These springs lower your vehicle about 20-25mm reduction in front and rear ride height. These heights were chosen in
order to preserve the wheel travel needed to keep the usability of the standard car, with an increase in spring rate of
around 10-15% depending on the type of car. Lowering or stiffening further, as some springs do, in Racingline's experience
will cause the vehicle to bounce and lose damper control as the dampers are mismatched to the spring-rate and will also
cause the springs to run out of wheel travel. You also risk reducing the life of your dampers significantly by choosing the
wrong springs, which the Racingline Sport Springs are guaranteed not to do.

Lowering Spring Style and Spring Rate

Racingline Sport Springs are a linear rate spring with a barrel-type shape so the end forms come slightly in. The springs have
specific front and rear spring rates as seen below in the technical data table. This allows Racingline to preserve the ride quality
in normal use, but stiffens the spring rates at the ends of its travel when cornering or braking hard. The springs come in

Technical Data: Front

  • Lowering Range:  20-25 mm
  • Spring Rate: 31N/mm
  • Wire diameter: 13.25 mm
  • Coils: 6

Technical Data: Rear

  • Lowering Range:  20 mm
  • Spring Rate: 33N/mm
  • Wire diameter: 12.5 mm
  • Coils: 8.5

*We Recommend a suspension alignment after installing sport springs as a part of the installation process. While the
ride-height reduction keeps the geometry within the Volkswagen recommended tolerances, if your car is not brand
new, it may have moved out of tolerance with use, so it's a good practice for your installer to verify alignment after install.
